Learning Hothouse: Stakeholders & Politics

Stakeholder management and politics are a fact of life for all project and programme managers to deal with. They can make or break a project or programme. This course teaches the student how to proactively assess your own project or programme stakeholder and ‘political’ situation, what to look out for, how to avoid issues and what to do if you encounter issues. This Learning Hothouse will enable you to:

  • Identify all your stakeholders

  • Understand the different types of stakeholders

  • Assess the stakeholder landscape: from CxO, to sponsor, to customers, to your team, and more

  • Create a stakeholder management plan

  • Build supportive and successful relationships with your stakeholders

  • Successfully manage your stakeholders

  • Manage global stakeholders from a distance

  • Make difficult decisions and get the right outcomes

The price includes the Learning Hothouse event (approximately 4 hours in duration) and a follow-up coaching clinic at a later date. The follow-up coaching clinic offers delegates the opportunity to ask further questions or discuss your specific challenges. Coaching clinics will usually be held within 4 to 6 weeks of the Hothouse event.

Event is suitable for delegates with experience in Project or Programme Management, including PMO or those with APM or PMI qualifications.
